John Dramani Mahama, the Flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has pledged to convene a National Economic Dialogue within 120 days of his potential presidency.
This initiative, announced on August 24 in Winneba during the launch of the NDC’s 2024 manifesto, aims to establish a comprehensive four-year fiscal consolidation program.
Mahama emphasized that this dialogue will be a cornerstone of his strategy to rejuvenate Ghana’s economy.
The proposed program addresses current economic challenges and lays a solid foundation for sustainable growth.

- Use Price Stabilization and Recovery Levy to cushion consumers.

- Restore the licenses of wrongfully collapsed banks and financial institutions.
- Increasing indigenous participation in the banking and financial sector.
