The organizers of this year’s maiden Soccer Achievers Awards held a decorated and a successful event last night at the plush Mövenpick Ambassador Hotel in Accra.
The awards scheme which was held to honor and celebrate distinguished sports personalities with focus on teams, coaches, administrators, players, media, football journalists and supporters groups in the season of the calendar year came off under the tagline “Celebrating Sportsmanship, Rewarding Excellence”.
The success of the awards scheme was also made possible through some dedicated board members such as Mr. Neil Armstrong-Mortagbe (Chairman), Jerome Otchere, Laryea Kingston, Rosalind Amoh, Duane Dell’Oca, Kofi Addai and Jonathan Vandyck.
The event saw top sports administrators and personalities in attendance and held under the strict adherence of the covid-19 safety protocols.
The winners of the maiden edition of the 2021 Soccer Achievers Awards were decorated with plaques, citations and products from sponsors.
