UK-Ghanaian Afrobeats artist Manye Fi has unveiled her new single “Rema,” following a standout performance at Ghana’s 68th Independence Concert & After Party in London.
The track, which debuted live at Indigo at The O2 in March, served as the crowd’s introduction to her upcoming EP Manye Rebirth, signaling a new phase in her musical career.
“Rema” blends vibrant rhythms with lyrical themes of romantic ambivalence, exploring the push-and-pull of pursuing a fleeting connection. Its upbeat tempo and danceable groove have already sparked a viral TikTok challenge, with teaser clips garnering traction ahead of the official release. Signed to UK-based Quartz Entertainment, Manye Fi recently earned BBC Artist of the Week honors and is slated for a BBC Live session to premiere tracks from her EP.
