UK-Ghanaian Afrobeats artist Manye Fi has unveiled her new single “Rema,” following a standout performance at Ghana’s 68th Independence Concert & After Party in London.
The track, which debuted live at Indigo at The O2 in March, served as the crowd’s introduction to her upcoming EP Manye Rebirth, signaling a new phase in her musical career.
“Rema” blends vibrant rhythms with lyrical themes of romantic ambivalence, exploring the push-and-pull of pursuing a fleeting connection. Its upbeat tempo and danceable groove have already sparked a viral TikTok challenge, with teaser clips garnering traction ahead of the official release. The song has drawn endorsements from artists such as Cina Soul and Kofi Antwi, who praised its chart potential.
Signed to UK-based Quartz Entertainment, Manye Fi recently earned BBC Artist of the Week honors and is slated for a BBC Live session to premiere tracks from her EP.
