Mario Balotelli has vowed to break out of the chains which have held him back at Liverpool this season to produce the goods next term.
Balotelli taking to Instagram to post, next to an image of him with in a Liverpool shirt but held back by chains saying, ?Thanks to Liverpool fans for this year ?. I?m loading for next season.?
Liverpool manager, Brendan Rodgers, paid out ?16m to sign Balotelli from AC Milan last summer as part of a ?100m plus spending spree aimed at making sure the Reds retained their Champions League status following a finish of second last season.
Rodgers? Reds have failed though, finishing just sixth in the Premier League, while Balotelli has had a season to regret, scoring just once in the English top flight in 16 appearances. The striker has been continually overlooked by Rodgers, despite Liverpool?s goals drying up with no Suarez and Daniel Sturridge out injured.
