Millions of Ghana cedis including properties were also destroyed as a result of the riot.

As part of measures to permanently curb the situation and to assure lasting security, REGSEC has imposed a curfew on the people in the Tafo community. The curfew begins from 8pm to 6am.
Meanwhile, traders and workers in the community have bitterly expressed their worries over the situation saying that it has adversely affected their business.
They are of the view that, people fear of involving into business due to threat posed by the curfew imposed on them.
New Ghana’s visit to the community recorded that, business is slow whilst other stores have been closed.
