The Management of Marwako Fast Food Limited has over the past weeks during the partial lockdown in Greater Accra distributed special raw food stuff packages to some communities within areas of their business operations and beyond.
Each package contains 4kg rice,oil,tins of tomatoes paste,corn beef, sugar and other provisons
According to the Management of one the best fast food joints in Accra, the decision to reach out to the vulnerable in some selected communities at this period of lockdown due to the covid-19 virus was informed by their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) policy and the call by government for organizations and individuals to help in the efforts to eliminate coronavirus in Ghana through humanitarian assistance.
Alhaji Marwan Mohammed, Managing Director of the eatery expressed his profound gratitude to the government and all stakeholders in the fight against the novel virus especially Doctors front line medical personnel,security personnel and the Media.
He went on to pledged his company’s unflinching support in the fight against the deadly coronavirus through any support including distributing of food stuff to the vulnerable.
Alhaji Marwan urge the general public including their loyal and potential customers to kindly do well to adhere to the protocols or directives provided by the President and medical experts regarding social distance, frequent washing of hands with soap under running water,use of approved hands sanitizers,properly disposing of tissues after coughing or sneezing,avoid hand shake and frequent use of mouth masks.
The Managing Director of Marwako Fast Food seized the opportunity to call on religious beliefs to help the nation with prayers. He congratulated Muslims in advance as they prepare for Ramadan fasting in the days to come.
