Mavis Amanor aka ‘First Lady of Ghana Sports’ will be complementing the efforts of the other six male committee members to ensure clubs’ compliance with legal, administrative, finance, technical, medical and security requirements of the provisions of the GFA Statutes and the GFA Club Licensing Regulations before issuing licences to clubs ahead of the 2019/20 season.
The Executive Council of the GFA made the appointment which will be chaired by Dr. Kwame Baah-Nuakoh.
The economist and former sports journalist, Dr. Kwame Baah-Nuakoh, who is also the General Manager, Sustainability at Ghana National Petroleum Corporation (GNPC) will work alongside the following: George Ankomah Mensah (Vice Chairman), Professor Joseph Kwame Mintah, Mike Bonsu, Mavis Amanor, Rev. Emmanuel Addotey and Joseph Addo.
The association has named Club Licensing Manager, Emmanuel Newton Dasoberi will act as Secretary to the Board.

Mavis Amanor is the only female on the board who will assist to reform Ghana football.
