Chairman of the Millennium Development Authority, Prof Sefah Dedeh has hinted Ghana might sign ?compact two? of the Millennium Challenge Account, MCA early next year.?

Ghana qualified for compact two after it successfully executed compact ?one? over the past five years. ?Compact Two? will focus on the energy sector.

Prof Sefa Dedeh spoke to Joy Business at a presentation on the ?2nd phase? at a breakfast meeting by the Canadian Chamber of Commerce.

“We?re concluding our discussion with the US Millennium Challenge Corporation on the proposed activities. In the next 3 weeks they would be in town for that after which they would do due diligence for it to be signed by early next year. It would however be less that the 547 million dollars we received for the 1st compact? he noted.
