I cannot understand why MEDIA GENERAL, up-to-date, has not dismissed the black goat, Black Rasta from among the sheepfold of hired personnel for dragging its name in the mud.
ln fact, by their loud silence over the case, l find it very hard to come into terms with the conjecture that Medial GENERAL is excited about BLACK Rasta’s unprofessional conduct in his line of duty as a broadcaster.
It is instructive to know that his goofing or infraction behind the microphone is doubtlessly seen as the inseparable responsibility of the reputable media house until it prudently and consciously distances itself from BLACK Rasta’s criminal utterances, and takes a decisive stance against him as its employee.
A couple of weeks ago, the nation woke up one day to hear, unfortunately, a malicious announcement made by BLACK Rasta that the Chairman of McDAN Group of Companies, Dr. Daniel Nii Nshia McKorley, popularly known as McDan, had been seriously hit with paralysis suggesting that the Ghanaian business mongol would not even be able to survive it.
Such indictable posture of a journalist should never be countenanced by any law-abiding organisation. For it is a false news, libellous, and causing panic and fear, and which, of course, has negative rippling effects on McDan’s person, property, business and relations.
With such weighty facts and consequences resulting from BLACK Rasta, a worker of MEDIA GENERAL, the organization cannot afford to be silent and passive over the issue.
It must, therefore, act now and promptly by getting the shameless BLACK Rasta axed from the organization, else it may find itself dragged into a legal entanglement.
Media GENERAL must sack Black Rasta now.
