Panathinaikos ace Michael Essien stormed out of training on Sunday and remains a doubt for Wednesday?s league match against Levadiakos.
The former Chelsea midfielder remains a huge doubt for the midweek clash but will undergo tests on today to ascertain the degree of damage.
According to a club statement, Essien could not complete the training session because of abdominal discomforts.
The ?Greens? do not want to risk a new injury and for this reason are skeptical on whether to used him in the upcoming match.
Essien joined Panathinaikos this summer on a free transfer after leaving AC Milan.
