( December 21, 2012, UK, Refugee News Network )-Stephen Twigg MP, Labour?s Shadow Education Secretary, responding to reports of a delay in the Government publishing its school sports strategy, said:

?Michael Gove is actively damaging school sport ? first he scrapped school sport partnerships, now he is blocking a replacement scheme.

?We?ve gone from nine in ten pupils doing a minimum of two hours of PE a week with Labour, to just half of pupils now.

?Labour supports new powers for Ofsted inspections of school sport and a new parental right to know how much sport your school is providing.?
