Education Minister Dr Yaw Osei Adutwum has underscored the significant advancements made in Ghana’s education sector under President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo’s leadership, emphasizing their role in empowering the youth and combating poverty.
Addressing stakeholders at the Accra International Conference Centre, Dr. Adutwum highlighted vital innovations such as extensive infrastructure development across all educational levels, elevating Colleges of Education to tertiary status, and establishing the National Education Leadership Institute (NELI).
These initiatives, he asserted, are pivotal in the transformation and economic empowerment of Ghana’s youth.
The event, organized by the Education Ministry in collaboration with various agencies, drew participation from academicians, politicians, students, civil society organizations, faith-based groups, and the general public.
