Moreno is on an eight-day trek to the Margherita peak (5,108m or 16,761ft), the highest summit of the Rwenzori Mountains.

On her third day (Monday), she headed for Bujuku, the third camp after Nyabithaba and John Maate camps.

?Tonight, she will be sleeping at Bujuku, which is 3,900 metres above sea level. She and her team are all in good health,? the RMS chairperson, Stanley Kanzenze, said on Monday.

RMS is a partner to the Uganda Tourism Board in providing tour guide services.

Moreno was flagged off at about 10:00am local time on Saturday by tourism minister Maria Mutagamba.

The Los-Angeles-based model, who described the Rwenzori as a breath-taking beauty, began her trek at Mihunga Gate, the main track to the mountain ranges.

With Johnson Muthulanda acting as chief guide, Moreno is expected to profile Uganda?s major tourism attractions and produce a documentary to be aired to millions of Americans through her travel platforms: Examiner.Com, Huffingtonpost. com and WhenInManila. com, as well as her travel blog,
