The Headmistress of Mosano Senior High School in the Central Region, Ms. Perpetual Praise Amegashie has called for public and private support to help in the construction of boy’s hostel for the school.

The project known as the ”twin project” estimated at a cost GH 12 million Cedis which is expected to be completed by the close of this year includes staff accommodation.

Conducting round the project, the Headmistress, Ms. Perpetual Amegashie noted that the school has already spent over GH 1.2 million Cedis on the project.

According to the Headmistress, the funds were solicited from benevolent organizations and individuals.

She noted that when completed, the project would help solve the problem of lack of boarding facility where some students have to rent rooms in the town.

Since she took over as the Headmistress of the school a year ago, Ms. Perpetual Amegashie is said to have undertake a lot of developmental projects in the school, and these including a 12 sitter water closet facility, lobbying for the provision of a Nissan Navara Pick-Up, a corn mill machine, drilling of 2 mechanized borehole, as well as an office accommodation for teachers.

Other projects includes the fixing of ceiling fans and air-conditions in various offices and the dining hall, the installation of a 5000kg LPG tanker, a siren for regulating class activities, the provision of 300 mono desks and 50 classroom tables and chairs, and the an institution of a scholarship scheme for needy but brilliant students of the school, the installation of a 20 modern computers with accessories and the music studio for the music school.
