“I feel my work is betrayed. I worked four days in training for this match. I identified four movements where Leicester scores lots of their goals and in two of the four situations I identified they scored their goals. I went through it all with the players, you can ask them,” Mourinho said in a post match interview.
“No, I don’t believe this. We are in the relegation zone – an area in the table. But to be in a battle is to be there for three to four months and I don’t think this will be so.”
“One possibility is that I did an amazing job and brought the players to a level that is not their level and now they can’t maintain it,” Mourinho said to Chelsea unending struggles.”
The Chelsea coach has committed his future with the Blues despite going through a bad spell. “I want to stay. I hope the board and Mr. Abramovich want me to stay.”
The Portuguese, however, did not understand why Eden Hazard left the game too early.
“I don’t know what is wrong. The only thing I know is that within 10 seconds he made the decision himself. He came off and said straight away he couldn’t do it. Then he tried and immediately he came back off,” Mourinho explained.
