MP advises BECE graduates to prioritize morality


Member of Parliament for Agona East Maame Pokuah Sawyer has advised basic education certificate examination BECE graduates to refrain from any bad practices and continue to read more books as means of gaining knowledge to prepare ahead of the results.

This she said will create more avenue for them in entering senior high school with full understanding of the course ahead of them.

According to the MP, allowing themselves to be used wrongly by irresponsible partners will prevent them from achieving their expected goals in life.

She said the desire to learn should be a priority and also belief in their ideas and desire to achieve great things since these pillars drove her to obtain a number of successes.

The MP made this known at a run up obaatanpa week long encounter with BECE candidate at her residence where she fulfilled her annual promise by providing educational materials and free meals to all BECE candidate in the Agona East Constituency.

“It is my heart desire that you don’t waste your time in craving out space for things that make you happy, but rather engage yourself in activities that will fetch money to help your parents prepare towards senior high school” she added.

She urged them to respect their parents and any other person such that they can live long in achieving their goals in life.
