MTN Ghana has taken another judicious step by putting a smile on the faces of the second set of winners for this year’s MoMo promo.
The winners received cheques ranging from GHC500.00 to GHC3, 000.00. Some lucky customers also won a brand new flat TV screen sets and phones as their prizes.
Speaking at the awards ceremony in Accra,the General Manager, Mobile Financial Services of MTN Ghana Mr. Eli Hini, noted that the rewards remain a good way to encourage loyalty and drive participation.
This is one of the reasons why MTN comes up with exciting promos during the MoMo Month to drive the broader national agenda of a cashlite economy,” he explained.
This he said, over 500 MTN Ghana customers will be rewarded for participating in MoMo Month promo.
However, Mr. Eli Hini, cited three golden rules, which every customer must adhere to in order not to fall in the hands of the fraudsters who are inimical to the mobile money service.
- Nobody will call a customer or award winner to tell him or her to meet anywhere for a prize or award.
- MTN will rather call a customer or winner with one particular phone number to come for the prize at an award ceremony at the MTN Ghana headquarters in Accra.
- Don’t share your PIN code with anybody.
- Don’t pay anything to anyone to redeem any MTN prize.
Mr. Eli Hini, however, encouraged all and sundry to take part in the ongoing Promo in order to win amazing prizes. Thishe said MTN will continue excite their customers.
