As part of the company’s 25th-anniversary celebration, MTN Ghana the giant telecommunications company has taken another giant step by presenting eight Toyota Hiace vans to eight distributors.
MTN Ghana has partnered with large distribution firms with branches spread across the country over the years on its way to becoming the country’s leading telecom company.
As part of the company’s 25th-anniversary celebration, MTN Ghana has as a gesture of recognition of the work these distributors carry out.
MTN Ghana executives, led by Chief Executive Officer Selorm Adadevoh, handed off the vans to the distributors amid surprise and excitement at Kempinski Gold Coast Hotel in Accra, to round off the 2021 distributor conference.
The Chief Sales and Distribution Officer of MTN Ghana Shaibu Haruna, told journalists on the sidelines of the van presentation that the gesture was meant to express gratitude to the distributors.
As part of our 25th anniversary celebration, we thought this would be a nice way to show our thanks for the good work they have done for our company over the years.
According to him, they have very reliable partners who have helped them establish their brand and support them on their path to market throughout the years.
So this is more of a thank you for all of our distributors’ hard work for MTN over the last 25 years,” Shaibu Haruna explained.
He also expressed trust in the distributors, describing them as partners who will propel the company to become a larger and more useful platform not only in Ghana, but throughout Africa.
On behalf of the distributors, Nathan Lee-Winans Annobi, CEO of NanaTel, expressed gratitude to MTN Ghana and stated that the vans will greatly assist their businesses in growing.
“This is a significant addition to the logistical tools we employ on the ground for us.” “We believe it will significantly increase our business and enable us to do a lot more than we have been doing,” he told the press.
Nathan Lee-Winans Annobi further stated that the distributors will take good care of the vans and ensure that they are put to good use in order to contribute to MTN Ghana’s growth.
The awardees are Samentro Links, Izone, EMBA Links, Ash Cell, and NAATOA Telecommunications Systems.
Others are E-Kash Business & Communication Ltd, NanaTel, as well as BISVEL Communications Ltd.
