Ghana international Mubarak Wakaso has completed his switch to Saudi Arabian club Al Ittihad. The 25-year-old passed his medical tests in Milan on Monday by Bupa Arabia after he arrived there on Sunday to join the pre-season camp.
Wakaso was uneasy while on loan at Scottish top tier side Celtic and subsequently failed to establish himself as a permanent member of the squad.
The move means that the player?s wish to move away from his parent club Rubin Kazan has been fulfilled following reports that he was unsettled as a result of the Russian culture. Wakaso is an experienced international and has made 31 appearances with the Black Stars and scored 9 goals.
He also played a pivotal role in the Black Stars run to the Afcon 2015 finals against Cote D?Ivoire in Equatorial Guinea.
