Mubarak Wakaso not for sale according to Espanyol
Ghana midfielder Mubarak Wakso has revealed rejecting an improved offer to renew his contract at Espanyol.
The 23-year-old is unhappy with his meager salary believed to be 20,000 Euros a month at the Spanish club.
The Ghana international has had offers from clubs in Russia in a move which will see his salary multiplied by eight times.
Espanyol are however unwilling to sell and have tabled and improved offer to Wakaso.
The tireless midfielder however says the improved offer from Espanyol falls far below his expectations and has thus rejected it.
?It is about money, they want me to extend my contract and I made my demands clear,? he told Peace FM.
?They made a counter offer which did not meet my expectations so I rejected their offer.
?So we now wait to see what will happen.?
