Namibia on Monday announced that the prices of diesel will be cut by 30 Namibia cents (0.02 U.S. dollars) per liter, to 13.33 Namibia dollars a liter.
However, prices for unleaded petrol will remain at 13.05 Namibia dollars per liter, Minister of Mines and Energy Tom Alweendo said.
The drop in diesel prices came after a sharp fall in fuel prices on the international market amid the COVID-19 outbreak, Alweendo said.
Prior to this, Namibia had not adjusted the fuel pump prices for eight consecutive months. Enditem
