Namibia on Sunday recorded 247 COVID-19 positive cases, the highest number since the virus was reported in the country on March 14 this year.

In a statement, Health Minister Kalumbi Shangula said the figure brought the number of positive cases to 4,157 with most cases recorded in the capital Windhoek and coastal town of Walvis Bay.

In addition, the country has recorded 35 deaths, and 2,370 recoveries from 41,146 cumulative tests. Enditem
