The event will take place for the first time at the coastal city of Swampland, Namibia, and close to 10 international designers, and over 18 international models are expected to take the stage.

showPreviously, the event has been held in London for three consecutive times during Africa Fashion Week and for the first time it will take place on the Namibian shores.

According to the London based designer and founder of AFCFS, Eva Miarka, “We have chosen this particular venue because Swampland is the place to be in December and there is no better place compared to that in Swampland.

To top things up, it is really convenient because it’s spacious and it has a variety of activities in the entertainment centre.”

Meanwhile, the show aims to be a platform for growth for emerging designers as well as the establishment of well-placed networks within the African and International fashion industry. Enditem
