Nania FC braved the odds to defeat host, Hotsteel 1-0 in their Division One League (DOL), clash at the Ho Sports Stadium on Sunday.

Prince Ofosu scored the only goal of the game in the 15th minute from a free-kick to give the visitors their first win in the league.

Nania dominated the first 30 minutes of the match but failed to penetrate the defence of Hotsteel with Saliu Babanawo halting through passes meant for Prince Ofosu.
Hotsteel came back from recess more determined but lacked the needed experience to level as skipper Francis Asase?s free header in the final minutes went wide to the dissatisfaction of the teeming home supporters.

The Ghana news Agency (GNA) was established on March 5, 1957, i.e. on the eve of Ghana's independence and charged with the "dissemination of truthful unbiased news". It was the first news agency to be established in Sub-Saharan Africa. GNA was part of a comprehensive communication policy that sought to harness the information arm of the state to build a viable, united and cohesive nation-state. GNA has therefore been operating in the unique role of mobilizing the citizens for nation building, economic and social development, national unity and integration.
