After some six weeks of qualifying competitions across four regions of the country, the stage is set for the grand finale of the 2019 CAL Bank sponsored National Beach Soccer League this weekend.
The Oasis Beach Soccer Park, Cape Coast in the Central region will be the center of attraction on Saturday and Sunday when eight clubs battle it out for the right to be crowned national champions and with it, take the bragging rights and all the pomp and pageantry it goes with.
Competing for honours will be teams from the Greater Accra region (La Yoca BSC and Sea lions); Keta Sunset and Havedzi BSC will represent the Volta region; Shama BSC and Jomoro BSC will come from the Western region with Young Sharks and Marine BSC representing the host region.
This is expected to be a closely fought affair as all eight clubs looks poised for the action and will put in their maximum effort in an attempt to win this seasons championship.
Indeed, the regional competitions proved just that with some famous names failing to make it thus far and surprises emerged.
It will be difficult to pin point a winner or clear favourite going into this competition as players will also be battling for positions in the national team as the selectors will be on hand to observe proceedings.
Fans in the Central region that will be on hand at the Oasis Beach, can therefore be assured of a very entertaining weekend as we await which of these sides would emerge victorious after this two-day competition.
The winner of this competition will take home a trophy, medals and an amount of GH¢ 3,000.00 for their troubles with the runners up set to go home with GH¢ 2,000.00.
