National Democratic Congress Plans Nationwide Protest Demanding Forensic Audit of Voter Register

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) is planning a nationwide demonstration today, calling for a forensic audit of the country’s voter register.

The protest will be held across various cities and culminate at the Electoral Commission’s regional offices.

Dr Omane Boamah, the NDC’s Director of Elections, has claimed that errors have been detected in the current voter register.

Dr Boamah states a forensic audit is essential to rectify these issues and ensure electoral integrity.

In response, the Electoral Commission has already addressed errors identified during the recent exhibition exercise.

Authorities have assured the demonstrators’ safety and requested that the NDC adhere to all protocols during the protest.
