Professor Joshua Alabi, the campaign director of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), expressed unwavering confidence that Ghanaians will support the NDC in the upcoming elections.
This reassurance from the party’s leadership instils confidence in the electorate and reaffirms their belief in the NDC’s campaign.
“The people are very awake, and they have seen the truth,” Alabi asserted during an interview with TV3’s Komla Klutse in Tamale, held as part of the NDC’s 2024 campaign launch at Jubilee Park.
Meanwhile, Elvis Afriyie Ankrah, a member of the NDC’s manifesto committee, outlined the party’s strategic plan to secure 14 out of 18 seats in the Northern Region. This plan underscores the region’s pivotal role in energizing the NDC, instilling hope and optimism in the party’s supporters, despite Volta Region being its traditional stronghold.
In an interview with TV3’s Mawuena Egbeta in Tamale, Ankrah criticized President Akufo-Addo for what he described as economic mismanagement. This criticism validates the concerns of Ghanaians disillusioned by the economy’s poor performance, making them feel heard and understood by the NDC.
“People have seen the abysmal performance in every single sector of the economy,” Ankrah remarked.
