Dr. Peter Boamah Otokunor, Chairman of the NDC 2024 Manifesto Planning Committee, has underscored the National Democratic Congress (NDC) as a party distinguished by its intellectual capacity and governance experience.
In an interview with Eyewitness News on August 22, 2024, Dr. Otokunor asserted that the NDC stands out regarding policy expertise and intellectual strength.
“It is well known in Ghana that the NDC is far from empty regarding intellectual capacity. We are the only party in Ghana with a proven track record of understanding policy and the technicalities of governance,” he said.
Dr. Otokunor contrasted the current election landscape to “comparing alcohol and water,” suggesting a clear distinction in the quality and impact of leadership.
He emphasized that the Ghanaian electorate has firsthand experience of President Mahama’s governance, noting his administration’s performance over the past four years.
“This election is particularly significant. The people of Ghana have seen President Mahama’s leadership and the results of his tenure,” Dr Otokunor added, highlighting the party’s confidence in their candidate’s proven governance abilities.
