After President Manama’s failed promises to end dumsor during his first term in office, NDC parliamentary aspirants are struggling to hold rallies ahead of parliamentary primaries in black out.

The shameless and voiceferrous campaign lords of Dr. Zanetor Rawlings, daughter of Ex President Rawlings had a tough time convincing relatively low responsive crowd at Adabraka in the Korle Klortey Constituency on Wednesday evening.

Members on the high table could not be identified due to poor visibility. The Public Announce system that gave their feeble voices some amount of projection and the deem light that brightened up the yard a bit were powered by a generator.

Ironically one of the speakers interpreted Dr. Zanetor’s name in Ga as “Dun akpa ” meaning, darkness should stop , adding that Zanetor will bring light to the constituents; a problem which the President could not solve as promised.

Meanwhile, other NDC parliamentary aspirants including the Mayor of Accra Alfred Oko Vandapuye who is eying the Ablekuma South seat have decided to ignore the shame and go ahead with their campaigns in the dark.
