In preparation for the December 7 polls, the Ofoase-Ayirebi Constituency NDC has held five days of town hall meetings.
National Democratic Congress members and sympathizers walked in procession across the principal streets of Akyem Ofoase, Akyem Chia, Akyem Ayirebi, Akyem Akokoaso, and Akyem Etwereso to show their preparedness for victory come December 7.
The National Chairman, Hon. Johnson Asiedu Nketia, urged the NDC party executives in Ofoase-Ayirebi Constituency to unite and work hard to win both the presidential and the Parliamentary seats in the Ofoase-Ayirebi Constituency.
The Chief of Akyem Akokoaso, Nana Asare Bediako Ababio lll, pleaded with the National Chairman to tell former president John Dramani Mahama to come to their aid by providing an Ultramodern Polyclinic for quality health care, Dining Hall for Akokoaso SHS/Tech and also to divide Eastern Region into two regions for the better physical and economic developments in the region.
The NDC Parliamentary Candidate for Ofoase-Ayirebi Constituency, Hon. Rev. Alfred Osei Poku (King Jaja) promised to do more for the Constituency when voted into power.
Meanwhile, other party executives and members who participated in the five-day town hall meeting expressed their readiness to work for NDC to emerge victorious in the December 7 elections.
The Constituency Communication’s Director, Hon. Shamuna Surage, was grateful to the zones and promised to help every town in the Ofoase-Ayirebi Constituency to have good and better developments.
