NDC Launches 2024 Campaign, Aims for Electoral Victory

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has officially launched its campaign for the 2024 elections, marking the start of an intense political season ahead of December polls.

The event, which took place at Tamale Jubilee Park on Saturday, July 27, 2024, drew enthusiastic supporters and critical party leaders.

The campaign kick-off featured speeches from various party stalwarts who articulated the NDC’s vision and commitments to address national challenges and propel the country forward.

The event’s highlight was the address by NDC’s flagbearer, John Dramani Mahama, who rallied supporters and outlined the party’s strategies for electoral success.

“As the flagbearer of the NDC, I declare our campaign officially launched,” Mahama declared, urging supporters to engage actively in grassroots campaigning across communities.

Key figures present at the launch included Vice-Presidential Candidate Professor Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang, Party Chairman Johnson Aseidu Nketiah, General Secretary Fifi Kwetey, and Campaign Coordinator Professor Joshua Alabi.

Hannah Louisa Bissiw, National Women Organizer, Sammy Gyamfi, Communication Officer, and parliamentary candidates and party executives nationwide were also in attendance.

The NDC’s campaign launch signals a period of intensified political activities as the party aims to secure victory in the upcoming elections, pledging to prioritize national development and inclusive governance.

The event concluded with renewed optimism and readiness among NDC supporters, setting the stage for a competitive electoral race in Ghana’s democratic process.
