Former Ghana Medical Association General Secretary and current National Democratic Congress (NDC) Parliamentary Candidate for Lambussie, Professor Titus Beyuo, has heralded a wave of change ahead of the 2024 general elections, expressing widespread support for NDC flagbearer John Dramani Mahama to lead the country towards prosperity.

Beyuo’s remarks were made during the NDC’s 2024 campaign launch in Tamale on Saturday, July 27, underscoring a national sentiment for transformation.

The campaign kickoff in Tamale featured National Chairman Johnson Asiedu Nketia, who announced a revamped strategy focusing on door-to-door campaigning. The party manifesto also highlighted key policy proposals such as establishing a 24-hour economy, abolishing ex-gratia, and promoting the export of nurses to address healthcare employment challenges.

The event showcased the presence of top party officials, including Mahama, running mate Prof. Jane Naana Opoku Agyemang, and other dignitaries such as General Secretary Fifi Fiavi Kwetey and members of the Council of Elders.

Tamale Central lawmaker Murtala Mohammed emphasized the strategic importance of rotating campaign venues across regions, reflecting the NDC’s commitment to engaging voters nationwide.
