During the National Democratic Congress (NDC) campaign launch in Tamale, Member of Parliament for Korle Klottey, Zanetor Agyeman-Rawlings, cautioned NDC agents against succumbing to bribery attempts to compromise electoral integrity.

Agyeman-Rawlings emphasized safeguarding Ghana’s democracy by ensuring fair and transparent elections.

“Campaign money should not sway our commitment to uphold principles that money cannot buy,” she asserted, condemning what she described as rampant corruption under the current administration.

“We promise John Mahama that we will enforce zero tolerance for corruption,” Agyeman-Rawlings affirmed, rallying support for the NDC’s electoral integrity pledge.

Meanwhile, NDC National Communications Officer Sammy Gyamfi predicted a shift in government in the upcoming elections, attributing public dissatisfaction to what he termed as the incompetence of the Akufo-Addo administration.

Echoing optimism, NDC Campaign Director Professor Joshua Alabi expressed confidence in voter awareness and support for the party’s agenda.

Elvis Afriyie Ankrah, a member of the NDC manifesto committee, outlined ambitions to secure a significant number of seats in the Northern Region, citing economic mismanagement under the current government as a pivotal issue influencing voter sentiment.

The NDC’s campaign launch underscored a commitment to electoral transparency and highlighted economic concerns as central to their election strategy.
