The NDC has revealed plans to unveil its manifesto in the Central Region, setting the stage for the party’s policy agenda should it secure victory in the upcoming December polls.
The manifesto launch will provide detailed insights into the party’s proposed policies and initiatives to advance national development.
During the recent campaign launch in Tamale, NDC’s flagbearer, John Dramani Mahama, highlighted some key commitments. He pledged to establish a women’s development bank to foster the growth of women-led businesses.
Additionally, Mahama reiterated his promise to eliminate the double-track system in senior high schools and ensure that all students attend school simultaneously.
Mahama also emphasized the party’s commitment to education infrastructure, promising to continue efforts started by the late President Prof. Mills to eradicate schools under trees. Moreover, he proposed utilizing portions of school lands to construct hostels for tertiary students.
This initiative aims to enhance student safety by reducing travel-related risks associated with commuting.
The NDC’s manifesto launch in the Central Region is expected to draw significant attention as the party outlines its vision and policies to address various economic and societal sectors.
