The National Democratic Congress (NDC) is set to officially kick off its 2024 election campaign on Saturday, July 27, in Tamale.
Mustapha Gbande, the party’s Deputy General Secretary, announced that the campaign launch will begin an intensive effort to secure victory in the upcoming elections.
In an interview with Citi News, Gbande emphasized that the launch is a ceremonial event and a strategic move to rally party supporters and galvanize efforts towards a successful electoral outcome.
The event will feature key party figures, including the flagbearer, John Dramani Mahama, party Chairman Johnson Asiedu Nketiah, General Secretary Fifi Fiavi Kwetey, and members of the Council of Elders. Gbande highlighted that the campaign’s theme, “Changing to Reset,” reflects the party’s commitment to revitalizing Ghana’s political and economic landscape.
“Our MPs, parliamentary candidates, and the entire leadership will be present,” Gbande said. “The launch is an opportunity to regroup and focus on our campaign strategy. It’s about hard work, vigilance, and effectively communicating our agenda to the Ghanaian people.”
The campaign aims to build momentum for the NDC’s message and mobilize supporters to work diligently towards the December 7 election, with a clear goal of resetting Ghana’s trajectory through its proposed policies and vision.
