NDK Financial Services is in its 25 anniversary mood and organised a lecture last week to commemorate it.

As part of the celebration, the respected financial outfit used the occasion to launch its Corporate Social Responsibility Foundation.

An initial seed money of two million has been set aside to run the foundation. The launch of the Foundation is part of NDK Financial Services’ quest to contribute effectively to socio economic development of Ghana through education, infrastructure and sports.

Recognizing education as a powerful tool in Social and Economic Development, NDK has over the years sponsored students through the tertiary and secondary education levels. NDK currently sponsors the educational needs of four (4) students at the Tertiary and SHS levels. The company in the past has sponsored brilliant medical students within the Osu community and today these individuals are qualified doctors.

In March 2006 NDK built the Puteh Presby Primary School to meet the educational need of the puteh community. It continues to support the school and its administration in nurturing the next generation.

It has also donated computers to the St Barnabas Anglican School and Osu Presbyterian Preparatory school to ensure ICT access for the students.

NDK is known for its affiliation with Hockey. It has since 2009 sponsored the National Hockey team in their international bids as a proud patrons of our own Hockey team: The Financiers. The Financiers continue to win trophies and be an active member of the Greater Accra Hockey League. It threw its weight behind several other sports and most notably sponsored the Black stars during the 2012 African Cup of Nations.
