Kofi Ofosu Nkansah, Chief Executive Officer of the National Entrepreneurship and Innovation Programme (NEIP), has expressed confidence that the New Patriotic Party (NPP) will secure most seats in the 2024 Parliamentary elections.
In a recent social media post, Nkansah attributed the anticipated success to the party’s strategic replacement of unpopular parliamentarians with new candidates.
He cautioned against relying on the 2020 election results for analysis, noting that many candidates have changed since then.
“NPP is going to win the majority of seats in Parliament partly because we have introduced fresh candidates to replace MPs who had become unpopular,” Nkansah stated.
He emphasized that relying on past electoral outcomes would be a miscalculation due to these significant changes.
The NPP aims to make history in the 2024 elections by winning the presidential race and breaking Ghana’s eight-year political cycle.
