New President Of Ghana Tennis Federation Elected

The Ghana Tennis Federation (GTF) has elected Mr Isaac Aboagye Duah, former Vice President of the Federation as the new President to steer the affairs of the Federation for a four-year term.


In an election conducted in Accra on Tuesday, after the Annual General Meeting, Mr Duah polled 11 votes to beat two other contestants, Mr Kobby Brew and Brigadier-General Nii Armah Tagoe who polled four and zero votes respectively.

The position of Vice President went to Mr Samuelo Ampadu Kyei, who was declared unopposed after his contestant, Mr Kwame Djangmah stepped down.

Mr Duah in his congratulatory message, thanked the members of the federation for the confidence reposed in him and pledged his commitment to work tirelessly to champion the cause of the federation.

He expressed the hope that members would support him to promote and develop the sport.
