(hyperallergic) Is it possible that some internet memories are so good that you can almost taste them? Well, Boomf ? aka Magic Mallows ? is banking on our need to consume memories in more ways than one.

The UK-based internet startup allows Instagram users to upload photos from their accounts to create nine bite-sized square marshmallows (4cm x 4cm, or 1.57?x1.57?) with the images printed on top. They will deliver the specially designed box (?packaging is designed to fit through your letterbox? they explain) to the address of your choosing (UK only at the moment).

Made with glucose-fructose syrup, sugar, water, gelatine, dextrose, maize starch ? it all sounds as healthy as any social media addiction. I?m assuming someone?s going to go all conceptual and order a box of marshmallows with images of marshmallows on top, so that?s a given ? or maybe a pic like this.

But don?t think your marshmallow pics are a slice of heaven just yet, since the site warns potential ?consumers? that:

We can not guarantee Boomf are nut free. Boomf are not suitable for vegetarians. Each Boomf has 24 calories.

So, yes, it is possible that your memories made physically tasty will make you fat or send you into anaphylaxis.
