Nicki Minaj has been announced as the latest performer for the 2015 BET Awards. The ?Super Bass? rapper will join Chris Brown and Kendrick Lamar at the 15th annual music awards which will be broadcast live from Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles on Sunday, June 28 at 8:00 P.M. ET.
Nicki will take the stage to support her latest album ?The Pinkprint? and its latest tracks ?Feeling Myself? and ?The Night Is Still So Young? before she launches the U.S. leg of the album?s supporting tour. The ?Anaconda? rapper is up for six nominations including Best Female Hip-Hop Artist Award and Video of the Year Award. She ties with Chris who also scores six nods in various categories.
Chris will kick off his summer tour ?One Hell of a Nite Tour? on August 12 and conclude on September 19 in Concord, CA. Lamar, meanwhile, is enjoying the success of his album ?To Pimp a Butterfly? and ruling the singles charts with the new version of Taylor Swift?s ?Bad Blood?.
Michael B. Jordan and Zendaya Coleman will be among presenters at this year?s show while Anthony Anderson and Tracee Ellis Ross are co-hosting. More acts are expected to be announced in the days leading up to the event.
