Mass Burial Accident Victims

A state in central Nigeria said on Thursday it has held a mass burial for 65 unclaimed bodies of suspected kidnappers killed in various security operations.

In a statement made available to Xinhua, the government of Kogi in the country’s central region said the burial was held on Wednesday under strict sanitary observations to prevent a public health crisis.

The suspected kidnappers and other hoodlums were gunned down during separate operations by security agencies in Kogi, said the statement signed by Mallam Abdulganiyu Sanni, general manager of the state’s sanitation and waste management board.
