Nigeria names 15 players for African Women’s Volleyball Championships

Nigerian officials on Tuesday named 15 players for the forthcoming African Women’s Volleyball Championship in Cameroon on Oct. 7- 15.

The Nigeria Volleyball Federation said the nation’s representatives were expected to depart for the tournament on Thursday.

The qualifiers would determine Africa’s representative at the 2018 Women’s World Cup in Japan.

Nigeria will feature alongside other countries such as hosts Cameroon, Algeria, Ghana and Cape Verde, Egypt and Botswana. Others are Tunisia, Chad, Congo Democratic Republic, Kenya, Zambia and Senegal. Enditem
