Comptroller-General of the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS), Muhammad Babandede, gave the warning on Tuesday at his maiden meeting with senior officials of the service.
The government last year ordered all ex-officials to submit those documents to the NIS.
The new immigration chief said unauthorized holders of such documents would be charged.
According to Babandede, 158 diplomatic passports and 310 official passports have so far been retrieved. Enditem
