The 16th edition of the inter-house sports competition of Aunty Ayo International School, Ikoyi, Lagos, started on Thursday.

In a statement by the school Principal, Mr. Femi Agbede, he said that a fun-filled event would be at the order of the day as many sporting activities have been lined-up.

Agbede noted that the school’s inter-house sports competition provides a good platform for balanced self-renewal for physical and intellectual growth that leads to total-man development.

He said the Parents Teachers Association of the school had given a lot of moral and material support to the students and teachers over the years, and that this had been a source of encouragement to the school.

He also paid tribute to the school Board of Governors which provides the necessary enablement for the management to plan for the event and ensure effective participation.
