Speaking to Xinhua on the sideline of the “Nigeria Summit” being held in Lagos, the country’s economic hub, Enelamah said China has been “a very good and important strategic partner” with Nigeria, Africa’s leading economy.
“You know the Chinese has been a very good partner to Nigeria. I am sure you are aware of the projects we are doing with them, we have very good meetings with them in December during the China Africa Forum,” he added.
He told Xinhua that he has met with the Chinese Ambassador to Nigeria last week, and they discussed progressing the bilateral cooperative projects.
On the summit, the minister also told his audience that his ministry was ready to play a critical role in the nation’s economy at a time the Nigerian government is poised to diversify the economy away from oil in a sustainable manner. Enditem
