JERUSALEM — Israel announced on Tuesday several measures amid the country’s crackdown on Palestinian terror attacks and incitement, after weeks of raging violence.
The Israeli army said it had shut down overnight between Monday and Tuesday the Palestinian Al Hurria radio station in Hebron, which it claims broadcast “incitement to violence” and encouraged attacks against Israelis. (Israel-Palestine)

BAGHDAD — Iraq’s prominent politician Ahmed al-Chalabi has died of a heart attack in the capital of Baghdad, the Iraqi official television reported on Tuesday.
The state-run Iraqiya channel said that Chalabi, head of the parliamentary finance committee, died in his home in Kadhmiyah district in northern Baghdad. (Iraq-Politician)

ANKARA — Turkish fighters hit camps of the outlawed Kurdish Workers’ Party (PKK) in southeastern Turkey and northern Iraq on Monday night, said a Turkish military statement on Tuesday.
The statement said Turkey launched airstrikes against PKK camps in Hakkari province and underground bunkers in the regions of Medina, Zap, Avasin-Basyan, Hakurk, Gara and Kandil in northern Iraq. (Turkey-PKK) Enditem
