German automotive refinement firm NOVITEC has unveiled upgrades for Ferrari’s SF90 XX Stradale, a road-legal hybrid supercar originally designed to merge racetrack performance with street compliance.

The modifications focus on boosting engine output and refining aesthetics while adhering to the vehicle’s factory specifications.

The centerpiece of the upgrade is a high-performance exhaust system crafted from materials such as stainless steel or INCONEL, an alloy used in Formula 1. This system increases the combustion engine’s output by 30 horsepower, elevating the twin-turbo V8’s peak power to 827 horsepower. Combined with the car’s three electric motors, total system output rises to approximately 1,060 horsepower. Engineers optimized exhaust gas flow and reduced engine bay temperatures to achieve the gains, with optional gold plating available for enhanced heat dissipation.

NOVITEC collaborated with wheel manufacturer Vossen to develop staggered forged alloys, measuring 20 inches on the front axle and 21 inches at the rear. The design emphasizes the car’s wedge profile, paired with high-performance tires. Sports springs lower the ride height by 25 millimeters, improving handling through a reduced center of gravity. Carbon-fiber mirror covers add visual flair without altering Ferrari’s original aerodynamics. Interior customization options remain extensive, allowing clients to select personalized colors and finishes.

The SF90 XX Stradale marks Ferrari’s first road-legal “XX” model, a lineage previously reserved for track-only vehicles. NOVITEC’s modifications highlight growing demand for aftermarket enhancements that balance street usability with track-inspired performance. However, such upgrades may raise questions about compatibility with manufacturer warranties and long-term reliability, challenges common in the high-performance tuning sector.

Ferrari’s collaboration with aftermarket specialists reflects a broader industry trend where automakers and third-party firms increasingly cater to enthusiasts seeking bespoke modifications. As hybrid technology advances, the interplay between factory engineering and post-production tuning could redefine possibilities for next-generation supercars. For now, the enhanced SF90 XX Stradale exemplifies the potential of merging hybrid innovation with precision aftermarket refinement.
