Nadi Imoro Sanda, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) parliamentary candidate for the Daffiama Bussie Issa District in the Upper West Region, has unveiled an ambitious plan to revitalize the district and address its most pressing challenges.

In an exclusive interview with Asaase News, Sanda, a two-time parliamentary candidate, outlined his vision for transforming the district into a hub of opportunity.

Sanda’s campaign focuses on several key areas: healthcare, infrastructure, agriculture, and youth employment.

Central to his platform is the establishment of a Nursing Training School to address the district’s shortage of healthcare professionals. “Investing in the health sector is crucial for our future,” Sanda stated. By providing quality education and training for aspiring nurses, we can ensure better healthcare for our communities.”

Infrastructure development is another cornerstone of Sanda’s campaign. He aims to improve the district’s road network to facilitate the movement of goods and services and stimulate economic activity. “Better roads will enhance economic opportunities and support local businesses,” he emphasized.

Sanda plans to provide farmers access to quality inputs, tractors, and competitive agriculture markets. He also intends to implement training programs to enhance farming techniques, which he believes will increase food security, create jobs, and boost incomes.

Sanda has pledged to establish job centres and training programs to address youth unemployment and equip people with valuable skills. He also plans to partner with private sector organizations to create additional job opportunities. “Our youth deserve a bright future, and I am committed to giving them the tools they need to succeed,” Sanda said.

Sanda also promised to ensure accessibility by setting up a constituency office where citizens can raise concerns and receive assistance.

Education remains a priority, and plans are in place to provide scholarships and resources to students and employability training to prepare them for the job market.

Having contested the 2020 parliamentary election without success, Sanda is now entering the race with a renewed vision and a solid commitment to the people of Daffiama Bussie Issa. “Together, we can build a brighter future for our district,” he urged, calling on voters to support his transformative agenda.
