Mr Asonaba-Dapaah, also a former Member of Council of State, was speaking to the Ghana News Agency (GNA) in an interview ahead of the party?s primaries which comes off on Saturday June 13.

He urged the delegates, contestants and all members of the party to show maturity and self-comportment to ensure peaceful and successful elections.

Mr Asonaba-Dapaah called for a fair and clean campaign devoid of insults, mudslinging, lies and violence on the part of supporters and contestants to sustain the peace in the party.

?Let me remind those who would win the primaries that they have the charge to the party and the country, so you should watch your words and actions?, he said.
