The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has rejected a report by Fitch Solutions, a London-based firm, that forecasts a potential win for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the upcoming December elections in Ghana.
The report, which consistently predicts a victory for former President John Mahama based on economic factors, suggests a significant sway in voter sentiment.
NPP’s Deputy General Secretary, Haruna Mohammed, countered the report, citing other research indicating Vice President Dr Bawumia leading in polls.
While acknowledging the economic challenges highlighted, Mohammed emphasized the NPP’s track record in financial management and stated the party would closely review the report’s findings while considering further actions.
